Ok, so I’m a little obsessed with wrapping food in bacon. It’s not a new phenomenon/trend: people have been going nuts with bacon for years – wrapping it around stuffed mushrooms – like I did with this recipe – creating Bacon-Infused Bourbon as seen on Southern Living – & Kasey Trenum even found a way to cover bacon with chocolate AND keep it low carb!
All of which makes me feel a little too basic with my bacon wrapping skills, yet here I am – presenting a Jalapeño bacon combination that’s simple – but fabulous!
*I’ve included affiliate links to show you ingredients I use – for more information, please see my disclosure policy!
Ok, so if you’re a planner – you can make these ahead, or if you’re a last-minute type (like me) you can pull ’em together quickly & still appear to have your act together! Either way, your guests will adore these bacon-wrapped rockstars.
Bacon-Wrapped Keto Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers
Here’s the thing about the ingredients: I used smokey cheddar cheese (it’s best to shred your own if you’re counting carbs because pre-shredded contains a few extra ingredients) but if you’re more of a mild or sharp fan – substitute it!
Want something a little more filling? Add in browned sausage or ground beef or that leftover shredded chicken you have in the fridge!
Oh & if you don’t have celery or forgot the onion at the store? No worries-these will still be a hit! Remember – when you’ve got bacon & cream cheese on board you can’t lose!
Bonus: You can bake these in the oven for 20 minutes OR grill to perfection in less than 10!

Be careful when handling these bad boys – you seriously may want to consider gloves. I know that may sound ridiculous, but if you’ve picked a potent pepper (say that three times fast:) – you may get burned. The seeds & the membrane (AKA: white stuff inside) contain the hot stuff. Use a knife or Jalapeño Pepper Corer (Yes, It’s A Thing) to remove it – & – if you’re not gloving up – wash your hands as if you were a surgeon scrubbing in!!!!
Serve this bacon wrapped keto cream cheese jalapeño poppers appetizer at your next holiday party or game day gathering & let me know how fast they disappear!

For the Grill
- Follow Steps 2 – 8

- Flip after about 4 minutes
- Lower the temperature to around 300°
- Close The Lid! This will help the bacon thoroughly cook!
- You’re looking at 8 minutes total grill time here.
- Try to contain yourself – these are AMAZING!!!
