Description

Taco Lime Grilled Chicken is an epically easy grilled chicken marinated in a flavorful blend of lime juice, olive oil, garlic, and homemade taco seasoning. It tastes like you spent hours – ready in minutes. Perfect for summer dinner!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Grab a large bowl and combine the dry seasonings.
  2. Add the chicken, garlic, olive oil, and lime.
  3. Transfer to a zip-seal bag (This is not mandatory – but I do recommend it.)
  4. Marinate in the fridge for at least 15-30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
  5. Place the chicken on the grill heated to medium-high heat. Cook it until it is no longer pink on the inside, about 6-7 minutes per side (or until it has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees F).
  6. Serve chicken in tacos, burritos, or salads!
