Today we are combining two keto power foods into one epic appetizer (or snack recipe) that’s easy to prep and even easier to eat!
Avocados + Eggs = Perfection
Technically a fruit, the mighty avocado brings a lot of good in a small package. Avocados are high in vitamins & fiber and low on saturated fats & carbs.
And Eggs? Well, they’re one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet! Loaded with high-quality protein (6 grams each), antioxidants, and vitamins at only 77 calories there is no substitute for the incredible egg!
Keto Deviled Eggs With Avocado
The most challenging part of this recipe aside from eating your ingredients as you prep it is peeling the eggs! And I’m about to give you a few tips to make that process a little easier!
How To Peel Hard Boiled Eggs
The easiest way to get hard boiled eggs to peel without losing your mind & half the egg? Give them an ice bath!
Here’s what you do: After you boil the eggs for around 15 minutes, pour out all the boiling water-without burning yourself-and replace it with cold water plus a few ice cubes!
Next, you’re going to want to gently stir them around so that they will crack just a tiny bit. Now, just in case that didn’t work, before you start peeling tap the top of the egg with a spoon to break the air pocket. Now your egg should peel easily-and your deviled eggs will be Insta-worthy:)
